A MESSAGE FROM VIVIENNE (Our CEO)

A big “hello” to all our Icecraft Friends after a very long break since the last Newsletter.

As many of you know, who have had to wait longer than in the past for your orders to arrive, we have been extremely busy.  This has meant for the last year and more, we have been filling our orders from stock straight off the turnstiles in the factory rather than from completed stock in the storeroom.  Now we have extended the factory and worked a lot of overtime hours and are gaining ground at last.

 You might expect that high volume sales means more profit? 
Unfortunately a huge turn against us in currency exchange rates (along with the fact that I had not increased our prices for 10 years!) has made us work harder for less return. However, we are grateful to you, our customers in 97 countries around the world for showing your faith in our great product by placing so many orders (and so often coming back for more!)  Rest assured our policy of providing quality products, caring service and back-up will continue at all times.

On a personal note 
My many forays around the world to exhibit at Trade Shows (some of them real marathons!) finally resulted in the discovery that I had fractured a number of bones in my right foot which has slowed me down for the first time ever.  An operation is planned to insert several pins in the foot which it is hoped will have a good result.  Donna — my right hand and Administration Manager — recently did a great job attending our booth at the HOFEX trade show in Hong Kong and she looks forward to the pleasure of meeting many of you at future international shows.

Requests for custom-made moulds for specific designs for exclusive use have increased so much that we have a queue always in place with Frederic, who has been our sculptor for 20 years, carving beautiful original pieces from which we make our master moulds.  Customers availing themselves of this special service come from a wide range of end-users including Sporting & Social Clubs, Restaurants, individual Hotels and Hotel Chains, Liquor Companies, Car Makers, Marketing Firms, Universities, Armed Forces (national & international – Army/Navy/Air Force/Marines).

GOOD NEWS!

… Now every driptray is available with an insert.  This insert accommodates the ice sculpture, slightly elevated, and at the same time creates a reservoir in the lower section for any run-off whilst on display. 

Need inserts only for previously purchased regular trays?  These are now available for purchase separately.
